💐ATTENTION!!💐 I know it might look like trans folk are thriving right now but we have to remember that media visibility very rarely reflects the livelihood of an actual community. Don’t let afew magazine covers and tv shows distract you from the fact that earlier this year our government EXCLUDED trans and non binary folk from the ban on conversion therapy, and hate crimes against trans people have nearly DOUBLED this year across the U.K, not to mention the ONGOING struggle to get access to LIFE-SAVING gender affirming hormone therapy. If you don’t come to trans pride this Saturday and you’re available in London then you’re telling me you don’t care about my rights. POINT BLANK PERIOD.
