Yesterday was a good day. We were back in Williamsburg at the domestic violence shelter we support through our partnership with @pajamaprogram. We delivered pjs made from our surplus fabric for the children at the shelter, along with books selected by Claire’s children, Sophia & Evie, from our local bookstore @booksaremagicbk . We also donated O & I clothes for the ladies, many of whom are preparing for job interviews or going back to college. We had a wonderful time with the families, their children and the inspiring staff at the shelter. It was so lovely to see the excitement from the children as they picked out pjs and found books they loved - classics like Pete The Cat and The Babysitter’s Club, as well as books to read at bedtime with their parents. Two sweet brothers had fun with a joke book that they started to read straight away which entertained everyone. As O & I continues to grow, so too will our partnership with @pajamaprogram .
