Make it count. The meal pictured above perfectly summarizes my whirlwind trip to Los Angeles. The trip came together so fast and I still don’t really know how it happened, but all the pieces fell into place. Lessons learned: Take the trip. Ride the train. Stay downtown. Ride the metro. Make connections. Smile at people. Rent the scooter. Go to the restaurant. Dine by yourself. Talk to the bartender. Tip extra. Compliment the shoes. All the things. While I wanted an action picture on the e-scooter (rented one in Santa Monica, one in Long Beach) for my own safety and the safety of @krissuncorked ’s heart, there is no evidence.
