MAHA: Maha's "Orkos" has been out for for 2 weeks now, the 1979 album was the only release Maha ever put out, before leaving music for good in 1984 (الترجمة العربية بالاسفل). Today she still lives a busy live in the Heliopolis district of Cairo. "...These days, I try to stay active. I visit an aerobics class 3 times a week. I’m trying to keep myself whole. I have no regrets; I’m happy to have been part of the music scene. I'm a free soul and I don’t like compromising my integrity. I never wanted to be famous for the sake of being famous. And I never wanted to be the type of entertainer that is just there to please people’s expectations, I rather wanted to be respected for my efforts and work. So actually, I don’t miss anything" // أطلقنا منذ اسبوعين ألبوم مها الوحيد "ارقص" الذي سجلته سنة ١٩٧٩ قبل انعزالها عن الموسيقى سنة ١٩٨٤. تعيش مها في مصر الجديد في القاهرة وتقود حياة نشيطة. قالت انا في مقابلتنا معها: "أحاول أنني أبقى نشيطة فأذهب إلى تمارينات الايروبكس ٣ مرات في الاسبوع وأعيش حياة مليئة. لا أندم أي شيء وسعيدة بالسنوات الي اهديتها للساحة الموسيقية. انا روح حرة ولا أفعل شيء الا عن اقتناع. لم ارغب ان اصبح مغنية بسبب الشهرة ولم ارغب ابدا ان اكون من الفنانين الذين يريدون ارضاء توقعات الجمهور بل تردت ان أنزل الاحترام لعملي ومجهودي. في النهاية لا أفتقد شيء.
