When I first started working out I'd hop around machine - to - machine without a plan. I know how frustrating that can feel when you don't have structure and question your ability to commit. There are numerous reasons why you should REPEAT WORKOUTS for your body and mind.Going back for seconds on the same exercise routine allows us to achieve a level of comfort and familiarity in our movement pattern that’s multi-beneficial. The first time we do a workout, we are really just trying to understand what is being asked of our brains and bodies. When we repeat it, we feel more confident. We are able to explore our brain + muscle memory connection. This is where you, your brain and the workout begin those early stages of becoming more familiar with one another. Repeating exercises and programming allows us to focus on our improved form, technique, intensity, recovery, strength etc. From there we can slowly keep track of our progression as we build slow sustainable growth.
