🌊 that moment when the homie and *international superstar* @kehlani spots you and shows some luv during her performance. I didn’t know if I was finna faint from the humidity or the swelling of my heart. 😅 I had the distinct pleasure of hopping down on the @bluewaterroadtrip tour when they swung through NOLA. Getting to see your friend up close and personal in their element is really a treat. 100/10. Absolutely Recommend. It felt like a rare human experience. I even thought about quitting my day job and stowing away on the tour bus. Although, I may or may not have tailed them to Austin for more of the festivities, but I digress. If you don’t already have this on your calendar, you missing out. And I hate that for you. But let me tell you something I love: chosen friends and family. And Keh has a lot of that. I just met most of them less than two years ago but it’s always mad luv and big hugs when I roll around. So it was v special for me to see them in their modes. I’m obsessed with @destinconrad for so many reasons. I was smiling like a proud cousin watching @gc_phoenix shoot up the function in his hometown along with @_718s . Made sum new friends: @_miazaki_ and Troye w/ an E! @mannequinskin. & Ran into some others: @rainmenne & @theunprofessional who are always with the vibes. The movement artists (cuz ion think “dancers” does them enough justice) @yaniimami @kassbright @sadelasoul @emily_imagna — went crazy. And the band snapped so hard they probably all need some sort of a brace. Everything anyone did looked so effortless. That’s how good they all are. You can really tell that they’re having so much fun and it comes across in “the work”. Maybe it’s because I love what I do so much that I know and appreciate what that feeling *looks* like.
