Life has been hitting me especially hard lately. I want to be a better partner, I want to be a better friend, I want to grow as an artist and be a better co-worker but, most importantly... I want to be better to myself. Self love is a weird thing I don’t think we talk about enough as whole. Not only do we not talk about it enough but, we don’t encourage others to do it more. I have found that most of the time when people have positive things to say about themselves they tend to be seen as egotistical or like they are bragging... While there can be a fine line between ego and self love it’s important to celebrate each other’s wins and encourage others to be proud of their own successes. Just because someone else is succeeding doesn’t mean you need to put them down as a way to try to bring yourself up.
