I have written about Andrew Tate a number of times, mentioned him in interviews and posted about him here on IG just before he got sprung in Romania thanks to @gretathunberg and some pizza boxes. I have copped a lot of feedback advising I had it wrong. That the guy was not dangerous.... It has come from mums of teenage boys telling me he is a great role model, from anti-vaxxers saying he spoke truth to power, from the usual chorus of confused heterodox adherents who tell me I’m a disappointment because I don’t support ALL anti-status quo movements (sheeple that I am). I share this update from @viceworldnews in case there is any residual support for the guy out there. Please share to those you know who think there’s a woke conspiracy - blah blah - going on. I repeat: to be a heterodox thinker comes with responsibilities and requires an ability to dance in complexity and to honour truth over discomfort. I will also take the opportunity to para-quote Hannah Arendt...banality can be evil, ie being a supporter of, or bystander to, an evil entity is also evil...
