DECK OF THE DAY: A friend grabbed me the amazing El Tarot Astrologico de Xul Solar while in Argentina. Xul Solar was a wild 1920s futurist artist obsessed with all things occult, and this tiny deck - a mix of major arcana, astrology and deities - is very cool. It’s challenging for non-Spanish speakers (like me) to read with, BUT grabbing clues from the cards and hitting the Internet led me to learn all about the ancient Egyptian house-god Bes and sent me in an enjoyable Ganesha khole. I used the @rachelpollack classic 78 Degrees of Wisdom for the cards plucked from actual tarot and overall got a super deep, psychological and mystical reading. It took forever, but worth it. #xulsolar
