I’m so thrilled to have been asked to host a @school_of_song songwriting workshop starting later this month! In my short time talking with Steven and Blue, I’ve already learned how to articulate so much about my creative practice (which means so much to me, obviously), in a sensical space to share the nonsensical with others. June 19th - July 3rd! Open to songwriters at all levels. Here’s some information on what we’ll be exploring through the workshop. “In this course we’ll work together to explore the infinite paths and foundations we resonate with and incorporate into our songwriting practice. My hope is that this space can be a poet’s playground, where we mourn and rejoice in the capture of melodies, words.. Identify structure of documentation that root us in our practice, simultaneously letting go of the work we put into the practice with an understanding of presence and nothingness, play and release.
