Was reminded by the Facebooks that 11 years ago, I was spending the day in Madaba, Jordan with my wonderful friend @pamelakatcho. We saw stunning mosaics, stood on the lookout where it is believed that Moses was able to see the Promised Land, ate delicious foods, had Jr. High girls on a field trip ask to take pics with us (I was many people’s first Black American to see), but my favorite was when I was trying to figure out how to play this big ass drum and these random men joined me. What a treasured memory and time. Missing you, Jordan. 🇯🇴
