Let’s talk about living a non-toxic lifestyle! When I started this journey almost 10 years ago, I was truly so shocked at what was hiding in my favorite products and foods. I needed the World to know! I was hyper critical of every toxin in my life but the more I stressed about it all, the more I realized that the stress was becoming worse than the occasional use of something.⁣ ⁣ Over the years, I had to sit myself down and ask where my lines in the sand were? I have a husband that likes trying new foods and restaurants where as, I don’t. I want to eat at home to know every meal is canola oil and non-stick pan free 🤣⁣ ⁣ I recently asked you all where you’re at and many of you said you’ve arrived to the same place! Very mindful of the choices you’re making but not living in constant stress over it!⁣ ⁣ I’m still pretty strict about my routine. Some hard NOs for me are water. Air. Daily diet must be GF and as Organic as possible. I will not use any conventional beauty products, perfumes etc bc I have cleaner swaps and don’t have to and I still choose to avoid conventional drugs and if there is a natural option to try, that’s my preference. No botox. No fillers.⁣ No drinking. No EMF smart/electric cars. No fake food. Cleaning products. Clean cookware. ⁣ The only cheats I really have these days would be a cleaner gel nail polish. Dying my hair once a year. Using my phone/computer. Lash glue for a special occasion. Non-Organic candy for Halloween. Eating out 2-3 times a month. Even if we eat out, we still eat pretty healthy but not always Organic. Products with small amounts of xanthan gum or citric acid a few times a month, never daily. 80:20 is definitely how we try to live now and life is much better for us this way.⁣ ⁣ Kyle and I now share the same non-negotiables and then, we compromise on the other small things. Making the best decisions for us, in each moment but let this be a reminder that you should research both sides and then do what’s best for you!
