Reply to @thelazyknitter unfortunately lots of people do not apply enough sunscreen. It's simple mathematics. Less Product = Less Protection. If the film created by the sunscreen is spread too thin, it will allow UV light through. 2mg per cm2 for full protection = half teaspoon for face and neck plus half teaspoon per body part exposed to the sun (a full shot glass for full body coverage for days on the beach)
