Clark Hassler, NYC, 2008. Yesterday's post reminded me of that diptych, shot in way colder conditions, as the autumn weather was about to turn to cold and windy. I remember scouting around by the Hudson river, looking at different spots with a small crew. No real plan apart from trying to get inspired despite daylight fading and temperatures lowering... Pretty sure we called it a day after looking at that one. We might have found shelter as The Ear Inn after that... One thing for sure is that Clark is among those skaters that need to be appreciated live and direct, in their environment.
