From the beginning I identified with, and championed the mission of @blackbeautyroster along with my sisters and founders @maudeyoaks @simonetetteh, whom I am BEYOND proud of. 🇬🇭 From leading research in surveying my peers, to writing op-eds, to advocating for models and beauty professionals on & off set, the work is so rewarding when we get to sit in rooms like we did this past week. We had our very first BBR luncheon and awards ceremony this past week, and as a Leadership Council member, I am grateful to have lended my time and efforts to the many initiatives BBR has and continues to spearhead in the industry! And This is only the beginning. It was so great to also see the many faces who paved the way for all of us now, and giving them their many, deserved flowers 💐 I am inspired, and motivated to KEEP GOING, keep speaking up, and most of all, keep doing the work, to bring about meaningful change in the fashion and entertainment industry!
