HESNAWI - LIBYAN REGGAE: it was a pleasure to catch up with ibrahim hesnawi in tunis yesterday (الترجمة العربية بالاسفل). since we sadly can‘t visit him in libya he was so kind to come up to tunis to meet us and @chebmimo_. hesnawi was the first artist to popularize reggae music in libya, a musical genre that is still relevant today. one of his songs (tendme) was featured on our last comp but we‘re also working on full length release just dedicated to him. our friend @serah.boom also shoot a little documentary about him for us which will also come out once his album is ready. great times ahead. the song playing is from the forthcoming release. // سعدنا جدا بلقائنا مع ابراهيم الحسناوي في تونس بالأمس. للأسف لا نستطيع زيارته في ليبيا فجاء هو لزيارتنا مع شاب ميمو. يرجع فضل نشر وشهرة موسيقى الريجي في ليبيا (التي ما زالت من اهم انواع الموسيقى بالاساس) الحسناوي. اطلقنا احدى اغانيه في احد اصداراتنا الماضية وسنطلق البوم كامل له قريباً. قامت صديقتنا سارة بوم بانتاج فيلم تسجيلي عنه سنطلقه مع الالبوم.
