“Half the Time” 2019-2022 Another new painting after several years of saying I’m still adding to it I think! Some things r pretty ez for me to make, but paintings like *canvas paintings* lol I make such a big deal in my mind / make it so difficult for myself to continue/ finish.... Blah blah. Maybe not now... u can always flip the script. 📝 I got this canvas for nothing while crashing in a house in Topanga on Halsey Road.. it had galaxies printed on it I think.. I spray painted the fade.. moved it to echo park started painting it again, moved it to tiny house on the hill added to the painting, moved it to my first studio / shop/ dream palace did a little bit on it there, let it hang out in the space, spent sometime on the wall, then I tucked it behind some clothes to be only slightly visible. Then my pal is moving and is like, hey I like this painting can I hang it in the new place ! It only seemed right, this baby loves to move and keep on moving on.. 🥊 3 years of not being finished with this one, hopefully next piece only takes half the time ;)
