In response to a mean-spirited tweet sent by Republican U.S. Rep. #MattGaetz of #Florida, queer activist Olivia Julianna from #Texas has gotten the last laugh by raising more than $1.5 million to support #abortion care as of Friday. . She started the fundraiser after Gaetz mocked abortion rights activists, calling them "disgusting" and overweight, and then doubled down when she confronted him on Twitter. The money is being raised on behalf of Gen-Z for Change and will be split among 50 abortion funds, among other reproductive health care services. .
