There has been lots of talk about this wonderful little beverage over the last little bit. The Cortado has commonly been a misunderstood beverage in the coffee world, but has only gained in popularity over the last few years. Simply put, a Cortado is equal parts espresso & steamed milk. It is a great choice for people who love the flavors espresso offers, but want a little bit of the milk sweetness with it as well. The milk doesn’t have a thicker foam on top like a Cappuccino, but just a thin layer as to not distract from your experience of the simplicity of the two ingredients.
