There’s no reward for self care, but the act itself can be exhausting and nearly impossible for some folks struggling with their mental health. I don’t do my makeup or hair for the slew of men in my comments talking about “look better w/o” it’s literally for me to feel better and undue any toxic habits I have around self care.
