Futurism for the @britishbeautycouncil / @britishbeautyweek worn by the ethereal @gigi.hari 🦪🫁 Thank you for everyone coming to support me @jackoliverx and @elizabethbarnettlawton yesterday it means the world. For this look I wanted to reference the creatures of the deep sea, I created a shell from my own face to mimic the effect of a bioluminescent membrane. I used tones of Gigi’s complexion to choose my colour palette, blowing out colour from the centre of the mouth and pin pointing tones from Gigi’s eye lid to add depth. I used prosthetics to accentuate the cheek bones and compliment Gigi’s brow horns also to add an element of something otherworldly. I didn’t want to be too painterly or sculptural as I find that can be reflective of marking makeup in time. I wanted this look to be simplistic and timeless nor masculine nor feminine.
