In the 1950s, the construction of Interstate 94 displaced many homes and businesses within St. Paul’s Rondo neighborhood — where 80% of the city’s African American population lived. Now the City Council has unanimously voted to address the removal of this neighborhood and the systemic discrimination committed against Black residents by creating the Community Reparations Commission. 👏🏾 (Link in bio)
