Felt like I couldn’t get another post off until I took care of this one. Almost impossible to narrow these down, hated doing it but here we are, the long awaited Top 10 of 2023. This year was the greatest year of my career. I’m blessed to have that feeling almost every year now, but this past year we reached heights that I never thought I’d see this soon. Started the year off shooting the National Championship and I truly don’t think life could’ve peaked so soon. We had a great year of sports, with some baseball and basketball games carrying me throughout the rest of the year. Spent a good bit of time on client shoots with the bars, got to take many of my best friends grad photos, met some DJ friends shot some crazy sessions, and so much more. My last 6 months in Athens were spent this past year as well. What a run man. I love the city for what it is but I’m grateful to have moved on to a place where I can achieve even more. I grew stagnant there for a little bit, and to be honest I felt like there wasn’t anything else for me to really accomplish in the city. This past year has tested my patience for sure. Waking up and knowing that your lifestyle, wellbeing, and bills rely on you “going and getting it” is a tough cookie to swallow at times. But it’s a challenge I’ve looked in the eye everyday for the past few years. I had a slow first few months in Atlanta but very blessed to say that things are trending upwards. I want to thank everyone that’s ever showed me love in Athens. Our story isn’t over, and I hope to not only work with some of you in the future but continue to keep up over the course of our lives. Moving forward I’m tackling the big city head on. There’s a lot of things I want to do here, and they’ll continue to slowly unfold over the next few months and years. Moving forward this will be a strictly business - hybrid account, for those that care. I’m going to mainly be posting my work and promoting it as usual with a *sprinkle of my own social life. We’ve got a lot of great things planned, some amazing shoots already scheduled this year. I’m ready to see where 2024 takes me and this camera in this new chapter of life. I’m here.
