Designer Elizabeth Young (@elizabethyoungdesign) insisted on taking on this Houston home project, willing to work on the design while the family of six remained in the space in order to get a feel for how they lived. “I’m not interested in decorating a room,” she says. “I’m more interested in building a collection of special pieces that my clients can treasure for a lifetime.” The result? A treasure trove of tones, textures, and eras that is as prepossessing as it is functional.
