Jewish members of the Saint Joseph’s community and our Jewish neighbors are about to begin observing the 10 Yamim Noraim, the 10 “Days of Awe.” They start with Rosh Hashanah on September 22 (New Year’s Day) and end on October 2 with Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement). “I admire the deep introspection that Jews and Jewish communities experience in these days, which can inspire non-Jews as well,” says Director of the Institute for Jewish-Catholic Relations, Philip A.
