She talked about her decades of experience in the textile design, retail, creative direction, and fashion marketing industries, comparing us to a few brands I adore, “but better.” It felt pretty surreal because we haven’t done much yet, but she really had faith in what we’re doing. It was just the thing I needed to hear. Sometimes, it feels like you have to downplay a business as a “little side hustle,” but practicing more confidence has been game changing.
