Dessert at Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney - I was not expecting this to be my favorite course of the meal. 😳😮‍💨 Chocolate Buns ($10.50) - Decadent chocolate truffle enveloped in a soft, fluffy bun. A burst of chocolate lava in every bite. This one is a chocolate lovers dream. The lava flow of chocolate out of this bun made my taste buds happy. Tasted even better dipped in the sea salt cream (which costs $1 extra). 10/10 for me Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao ($11.50 for 5 pieces) - Decadent, premium chocolate truffle enveloped in a thin layer of mochi—wrapped with painstaking attention into their signature 18 folds. A burst of chocolate lava in every bite. This was insanely delicious. When the chocolate lava oozes into your mouth it’s like heaven on earth. I could eat this as a dessert every day. So delicious. 10+/10 Sweet Taro Buns ($9.00) - Taro with a hint of sweetness. Silky-smooth taro filling is wrapped in their signature soft, airy bun. These were also delicious, though I’d personally put them a notch below the two chocolate desserts above. 8.5/10
