D e c i s i v e n e s s Many have said to me in my life that I’m impulsive. In my mind I have always seen it as being decisive, because I think about things carefully but act quickly. Decisiveness is key to getting anything done. I think a lot internally about the decisions I make, not only personally but also professionally. If you hear anyones success story or listen to any CEOs podcast, the first thing they mention is the need to be decisive. To not ruminate on decisions. You can get bogged down on the small details of a business, or with anything for that matter. The key, once you have thought through the options, is to act and not waste time. Time is valuable and you have to recognise how much your time is worth. In running my business and recently building a bespoke, brand new clinic, there are and were an infinite number of decisions to make on a daily basis. You just have to act. Think, and then act. Don’t waste time. In the time some take to make one decision, you could have made several. It’s time to reach for your goals and achieve them one by one.
