On a final day of social media for a while as I enter a heavy season of service - and/or until I finish my latest manuscript - I wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes over the weekend. Just like that. Boom. The 5th level. From my glory days in little league, to school, marriage, publishing, hospitality, fitness, sickness, PrayFit, mission work and special needs....what a ride to fifty. I thank the Lord that He’s numbered my days. Whereas when I was younger that truth seemed limiting, these days it's liberating. As the years claim their increase on me, so does my dependence on Him. My faith is increasing with every goal I can't reach. It’s my diminishing capacity - not my progress - that allows me to see who I really am. I thank the Lord for my wife, my friends, my church and my work; all are gifts of grace. Thanks again everyone. Peña
