#Repost @knotonmyplanet ・・・ PLEASE HELP! We’ve been following the devastation and rescue efforts closely in Mozambique trying to decipher the best way to deliver funds and support. Through our close relationships in the region we have identified the Niassa Lion Project as the best trusted vehicle to getting rescue and relief teams who are overwhelmed targeted funds to people who need it quickly. They have set up a separate donation page (link in bio) where 100% of donations go to the ground via organizations that they know and can personally vouch for. Please donate and repost to help those in dire need of shelter, water, medicine and food. The Niassa Lion Project is in daily contact with teams on the ground from Gorongosa and Africa Parks and others and at the moment their support is being used by a combined team of Africa Parks, Gorongosa, Mercy Air and Gift of the Givers to assist people who are still isolated in the Busi area and get food and medical treatment to them. The risks increase as people are very hungry so helicopters landing with food are swamped. The work has now moved from rescue from trees and rooftops to trying to get medical care and food to those that are homeless.
