Today I played ‘fader’ for some random people on one of nick cave’s old pianos at an exhibit of his life’s work in Montreal. The performance was impromptu and only lasted a few minutes but the sound of my ghosts commingling with his ghosts gave me a crazed feeling of release, that I could love and live forever in the divine spark, half acolyte and half iconoclast.
