A trip to autumn court 🍂🍁🧡 This is what autumn court looks like in my head, what do you think ACOTAR fans? These are the famous Dark Hedges of Northern Ireland which you might recognise as they featured as the “King’s Road” in Game of Thrones. So how did the Dark Hedges row come about? Around 1775, James Stuart built a house, named Gracehill House after his wife Grace Lynd. Over 150 beech trees were planted along the entrance road to the estate, to create an imposing approach. It’s certainly magical still to this day, so James definitely knew what he was doing. PS. You are not allowed to drive on the road! If you are visiting there is a car park at one end of the road and it’s a super easy walk down. 📍The Dark Hedges, Northern Ireland #northernireland #northernirelandtiktok #northernirish #northernirelandfyp #thedarkhedges #gameofthrones #irishtiktok #traveltiktok #traveltok #travelbucketlist #uktravelblogger #travelblogger #acotar #acourtofthornsandroses #autumncourt #autumnvibes #autumnal #darkcottagecore #cottagecore
