9 X out of 10 If you believe you struggle with formulating your color /toner , more then likely you have two issues going on... ✔️Not lifting to the level require to support your end goal ✔️Not Understanding color theory application and or the functionality of different hair textures Formulating for the level you’ve reached rather then level you hoped to reach is something I’ve learned to be good at with years of experience and practice . However , every now and then I still make mistakes and when I do its always because I was rushing and abandoned basic or advanced color theory rules that I’ve mastered. PRO TIP: Many of us just need to create longer color service time standards for your color services and do more through ( data driven an measurable) color consultations , and set better boundaries In order to improve. No matter how much you practice what you learn, the possibility for making and error in judgment or mistake is possible and its almost guaranteed when we are rushing trying to meet unrealistic time frames ! I’ve created SOP’a for every color service, method and technique I used behind the chair. When I following my own blueprint to the letter I always reached the results I predicted and planned for. I’ve take hundreds of color classes in my 32 years of being a stylist / colorist and will continue to do so because there’s always something I can improve on as a business women , colorist, and educator. it’s always exciting to learn , apply , and share the new knowledge with anyone who’s ready to learn .
