As Grand Performances wraps up our 36th summer season -- our grand finale this Saturday features @franciscamusic @reneegoust & DJ @que.madre -- we’d like to reflect on the evolution of our beloved home California Plaza. Gone is the old fountain and its unique views, but the crowd energy and intimacy we gained with the new lawn that was completed in 2020 has changed our whole vibe for the better. This new energy was on full display this past Saturday, when @cumbiaton_la brought the entire crowd to its feet for hours of non-stop dancing.
