The De Stijl Table was one of Eileen Gray’s favorite pieces and stood in her living room up to the time of her death. Named after and inspired by the Dutch movement “De Stijl”, the table is quite an unusual design approach for her. A visit to the De Stijl group in the Netherlands served as her inspiration to design this table on her return to Paris.
