Down from the Promenade by @luxtasia “I took this photo during the off-season on a sunny December day. The waterfront Promenade in Nice overlooks the beach. Before seeing the men, I heard their joyful laughter and happy voices and followed the sound. Looking down from the Promenade, I discovered these five, four of them playing a popular French card game while the fifth was looking at the sea. I particularly liked the glass of red wine balanced on a pebble on the right. The colorful towels balance the dull gray of the pebbles. I tried to capture their joyful energy by concentrating on their gestures.” _ This August, the work we share will be channeling the “Sweetness of Summer'' and the welcoming feeling of warmness, playfulness, and freeness it brings us.
