OK ya’ll vulnérable share ahead again! I’ve been writing a book for the last year, and it is slow and steady and very confronting. It is an autobiography that is so revealing and raw that I hesitated and ultimately decided not to share the first chapter, which was my original idea. But to protect some people I love, I decided not yet, and to instead share an excerpt from a chapter I wrote this morning. So...I have no idea how to publish a book. I know a lot of authors though. So here I am, putting it out there that I am writing a book! And it’s so dear to me and so unbelievably terrifying... to be so honest with myself and with others. Every mistake, every heartbreak, every stumble and every victory is coming like a poetic provocative outpour. It feels destined that this should come to be.
