Today the @cfda, in partnership with IMG, has released the schedule for the spring 2023 New York Fashion Week collections. This year, the CFDA is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and the diverse designers on the schedule this season reflect its commitment to supporting and exalting American talent while reiterating that New York remains a vital part of the global fashion industry. Earlier this month, @Fendi announced that it’s holding a special show on the evening of September 9, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Fendi Baguette as well as @mrkimjones’s second year as artistic director of couture and womenswear. Fellow Milanese stalwart @Marni will also be showing in New York on September 10, kicking off a so-called world tour in an effort to “get closer to their audience,” as creative director Francesco Risso (@asliceofbambi) recently told Vogue Business’s @luke_leitch. There are more than 100 confirmed labels with a mix of establishment designers and new-generation designers who have reenergized the city’s offerings.
