[post 1 of 2] The impact of our chemical food system has decimated the biology of soil systems and the human microbiome, resulting in extinction level stress across the planet. This reality drives me to extreme efforts, and sometimes into a sense of hopelessness. But today I am eager to share with you that these grim realities are beginning to shift. The sweeping changes that we are seeking is already happening. Last night, I had the privilege and honor of meeting with a group of U.S. senators in-person in Washington DC. Together, we discussed fundamental changes in our national food policy to bring meaningful change for farmers and the critical soul assets here in the United States of America. This conversation has given me a renewed hope — for the people of this country and especially our farmers — as well as for consumers and farmers around the world.
