Sex after death, 2019. Yesterday someone asked me what my favorite painting that I’ve made is. I can’t say-I just don’t know! To me they are all slightly different versions of the same thing- basically how I feel during the time Im making them. And whatever That feeling is, I know I manage to express it more acutely through images than any other way. Anyway, I like this one- makes me laugh at myself and feel proud. Not bc it’s a great painting, in fact it’s not painted masterfully at all! But I feel like I got across what I wanted to say. And that feeling is magical!
