#IndigenousPeoplesDay 2021 ✊🏽 I am honored to represent our Indigenous community on this special day with Mayor Eric Garcetti, Councilman Mitch O’Farrell, Chiefs of the Tongva/Gabrieleno tribe, my son PJ, Taboo, and other LA council members! Today marks an important time in history as Native American heritage is being honored more than ever, acknowledging wrong doings of the past, and making steps in the right direction! Starting with a cultural easement, renaming Father Serra Park, & modifying the LA seal to reflect native influence, honoring the native lands we are on. We are proud to stand with the city of Los Angeles in these beautiful changes. Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. The future looks bright.
