The atmosphere and character dynamics were compelling, and the writing style made it easy to sink into the story. That said, there were sections where the plot felt a little heavy-going, with moments where it seemed to stall and not quite move forward. These stretches tested my patience slightly, but they didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book as a whole. Where Quicksilver really shines is in the ending. It pulled everything together in a way that reignited my interest and left me genuinely wanting more. By the final pages, I was invested and curious about what comes next, which says a lot after some of the slower build-up. Overall, this was a good read with reasonable payoff.
