👋 Hello, I’m Erin, a lover of everything Vermont and a champion for the Vermont way of life, supporting small, and slowing down to enjoy all of the beauty, adventures, and experiences VT affords us. 🪜 I’m a former climber of the corporate ladder turned entrepreneur, Vermont Realtor at KWVT, business coach and marketing consultant, foodie, creemee connoisseur, and I’m always up for collecting a new life experience. 💚 I started Travel like a Local over 10 years ago to share my exploration of Vermont and never could imagine the community it’s grown into. I embrace every season - they never get old! 📚 Writing is genetic for me, and I am currently writing my first fiction book - a romance set in Vermont! 🥾 I am not a strong hiker and I never learned to ski. But I still thrive as a Vermonter! 🏡 Rather than just visit the 252 towns in Vermont, I’m on a quest to sell a home in each of them! Yes, I cover the whole state and love helping transform lives through homeownership. 🪵 I am all about simple pleasures: woodsmoke, lakes and the ocean, crisp air, bluebird skies, cozy slippers, a perfectly crafted latte, vistas, sunrises and sunsets. 🐾 I’m a rescue dog mom and someday will foster too. 🥘 In college, I worked as a breakfast cook and innkeeper and dug clams and picked blueberries in Downeast Maine. 🎨 I love a good project but am the least handy person (& patient person), you’ll ever meet. 🔥 I’d much rather be cold than hot! 🥬 I could live on Caesar salad, pizza, & chocolate chip cookies. 💜 My love language is acts of service, mixed with a little quality time. 🌾 My big why in life is collecting as many new life experiences as possible.
