During our KEXP50 birthday party, we asked members of our community to reflect on the roles of music and radio in their lives. Each response was more touching than the last. Not only did they take us back to that unforgettable day of live music this summer, they solidified the hope and excitement we have for the future of this organization that you have helped us build. Thank you for an incredible 50th year. We’re looking back at our first remote broadcast in Argentina, year-long radio programming that celebrated each of our 50 years through music, and the construction of our outdoor stage where we held our first mini festival showcasing the breadth of music that matters to us. All that and so much more was made possible by music lovers who believe in music’s power to connect, to heal, to inspire, and it’s that community that inspires us to continue championing music discovery for anyone seeking it.
