When @lucycharles93 found herself on crutches with a stress fracture in her hip back in March, competing at the highest level seemed like a million miles away. But, thanks to her fighting spirit and awe-inspiring determination, Lucy was able to battle her way back. Fueled by an inner fire, Lucy put an exclamation point on her comeback by winning the 2022 World Triathlon Long Distance Championship in August.
