Cottage cheese & melon reminds me of my childhood. I don’t know if this is a particularly Jewish combination- but I vividly remember eating half a melon at the diner, seeds scooped out, with a giant mound of cottage cheese in the center. Obviously with some Melba toast on the side. So this dish really brings back memories for me- we’re serving @weiserfamilyfarms ogen melon here with double cream cottage cheese, smoked pistachios, shiso vinegar & Mexican tarragon.
