Also, There is ONE spot left in “What’s The Plot”— a dynamic, ten week course I’m teaching in collaboration with @mollyrosenguy, founder of @brooklynwriterscollective starting this Thursday January 13th. Whether embarking on a new project or reworking a prior stalled draft, this course meets twice a week for ten weeks to help you turn your wild and messy manuscript into a total page-turner that’ll keep people up all night reading until their eyeballs start to bleed. We’ll unpack Aristotle’s Beginning, Middle and End, review Conflict, Setting and Character, Save The Cat, Scene + Sequel, how to plot a Thriller + Mystery, the basics of Building an Outline, the importance of a Midpoint, the Resolution Solution, Rhyming Action, Symmetry and Balance, Plotting Backwards and more. On Mondays I’ll lecture; on Thursdays Molly Rosen will lead a three-hour writing workshop.
