A beautiful evening at @thebbtas ✨ To be surrounded by such love, passion and unapologetic blackness really made my heart soar. To celebrate the work of so many wonderful artists at THE NATIONAL THEATRE is truly a blessing but to have been nominated truly is an honour. Seeing my face up on that big screen is a moment I will never forget. I’m proud of myself for this one. The first time I allowed myself to bring my FULL self to a show, my blackness fully included, I get nominated for an award hahahahahh so imma keep doing that! Shout out to the ensemble members who night after night are giving award worthy performances.
