🎶 Moncler Wich Jachda Ae, Ve Mainu Moon Kehan Waleya, Ve Tu Dil Wich Vasda Ae! 🎶 • 👳🏽‍♂️🌕👳🏽‍♂️ What another special moment in my career to paint for @diljitdosanjh and present this 1 of 1 artwork to him at his London show lastnight at the @theo2london • Growing up listening to the sound of Diljit at University and seeing his immense success, it truly was an honour to meet the creative magician and feel his warm aura through his blessings and kind words which I will keep with me forever. • About the artwork (second post). The artwork depicts a young boy which is an actual photo I managed to find of Diljit dancing. As we move upwards, his evolution and career success is expressed through my artwork. With the background focusing on hidden elements such as his album names and songs, it’s the perfect way to thank this man for putting us on the map even more and being an incredible human being! • The smaller moon represents the early glow which will only excel in to a bigger moon, depicted in the top right corner in the shape of a heart (Dil) - where now he shines his light and art through his name for all of us. Lastly, the bottom reads, “the creative adult is the child who survived” and in this case, it’s most certainly the case. • Massive thank you to @diljitdosanjh for making time for me, @sonalisingh and @itsbaldeep for making this moment happen and to @amankadwasra for allowing me to take this photo and a keepsake till the end of time.
