Some mornings you wake up and the weight of the week already feels heavy. Your brain might whisper things like “I can’t do this” or “I’m already behind.” Here’s the thing - that thought isn’t a fact, it’s a feeling. And when we practice shifting it, even slightly, we teach our brain a new pattern. In CBT, this is called a thought reframe. It’s not about pretending everything’s great, it’s about finding a more balanced, neutral and realistic way of thinking. So instead of “I can’t do this,” try: ➡️ “This feels hard, but I can start small.” That one small shift can lower your stress response, calm your body, and make it easier to take the next step.
